It is right to say that Daniele Fulvi is a born Kung Fu fighter because he began practising this discipline since he was a
child attending his father, Master Giuliano Fulvi, and his team. At the age of six he began to study the Shaolin Chuan
program and, not yet eleven, he gained the Black Belt in the presence of the great late lamented Master Chang Dsu Yao.
During these 13 years of practise he takes part in numerous competitions where he always won both fighting and forms.
He has 46 matches at his credit including 32 matches won by KO, 13 matches won on points and just 1 match lost on
points. He won all the three editions of "Golden Dragon Cup" in Rimini and in 1992 he was the only athlete of juniors
category to reach the 1st place both for forms and Sanda (total Chinese fighting). In 1995 he made his debut in boxing
and won the match on points fighting against a boxer who had 17 matches at his credit; however, Daniele gave up
boxing because Kung Fu kept him totally busy. Thanks to his merits, in 1996 the Chinese Government awarded him a
special scholarship through the "Shandong Wushu Research, Development & Promotion Center". This scholarship
allowed him to attend a yearly month's course in the Shandong province and there he was appointed Tza Chuan style
promoter for Europe. Still in 1996 he took part in the "2nd International Wushu Festival" in Jinan, Shandong, and won
the gold medal for forms. He was the only junior to be admitted to seniors category; he won the first match thanks to a
superior technique but, because of an accident occurred to his left leg, he was forced to give up the competition and won
the bronze medal. He was an athlete of deep martial disposition and complete technique for sanda; he was a very
well-prepared athlete in long, medium and short distance techniques with fists, kicks and throws and thanks to them he
could prevail on opponents. Daniele has studied throwing techniques for 8 years through Free Tuei Sho method (Tai Chi
sports fiAghting) of which he was undefeated champion of his category thanks to his improvement achieved with the
greatest champions in Shandong for this discipline.
Daniele, in addition to his daily training (2/3 hours per day), attended courses to become Master of Shaolin Chuan,
Tai Chi, Ba Qua Chan and Sanda and prepared his own debut with professional fighters.
His experience, passion, grim countenance and firm training were gifts that could let him go far in martial arts world but
destiny reserved him a different ascent…
